Gerlos is located at an altitude of 1,246 m in the middle of the Ziller Valley Arena, which with 166 km of piste is the largest ski area in the Ziller Valley. The mountain village is particularly well-known for its après-ski possibilities and is ranked high up with its better-known neighbours Mayrhofen and Zell am Ziller. Numerous bars, discos and huts invite you in for a visit. With its diverse sport and leisure possibilities like tobogganing, cross-country skiing, paragliding or winter hiking, the resort has more to offer than just lifts and pistes. It's therefore not surprising that in the last few years, Gerlos has become one of the most popular winter sport resorts in the Ziller Valley.
