This resort (1,400 m), which is well-known for its particularly impressive apres ski, distinguishes itself as a winter paradise with its ski area and the Silvretta arena. At altitudes between 1,377 and 2872m, it offers something for every winter sports fan. For the snow boarders there is a snowboard park, for the experts a total of 238 kilometres of piste, a large fun park for boarders and free-stylers and 74 kilometres of cross-country track for cross-country skiers. Ischgl is practically traffic free, as visitors are encouraged to use the pedestrian tunnels, where a moving walkway transports you from one side of the village to the other. But after all that fun on the slopes, Ischgl offers many other activities to spend a day off the slopes. Whether in a spa, cafe or restaurant, there's always somewhere to relax. There are also numerous discos, clubs and bars for those party animals who are looking to meet new people and party until the wee hours. The comfortable hotels, spacious apartments, as well as the cosy pensions all ensure you feel at home.
