St. Leonhard lies in the heart of the Pitz Valley and comprises besides the main town also numerous communities in the Inner Pitz Valley. The impressive panorama of the surrounding 3,000 m mountains, e.g. the Luibiskogel (3,110 m) or the Rofelewand (3,353 m) or also the Windspitze (3,774 m), dominate the high alpine landscape. No matter whether skier, snowboarder, hiker or just nature lover - this area offers something for everyone! Numerous cross-country ski trails weave through the valley and the wonderful landscape can be admired while on a snowshoe hike. The various small villages provide a friendly and familiar ambience and invite guests to linger in the bars, restaurants and cafes.
