The villages of Hinterglemm and Saalbach have long since grown together and have especially made a name for themselves with the perfect connection of sports, huts and nightlife. At an altitude of approx. 1,003 m lies the well-known village of Hinterglemm in the middle of the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Glemm Valley used to be a poor farmers' valley, today it entices with lively villages and a winter sports paradise. The bypass tunnel means the centre is virtually car-free, so that it's possible to take an easy stroll through the pedestrian zone. The route to the lifts and pistes is short, and the sporting, apres ski and culture opportunities leave nothing to be desired. There is almost every activity here, that you may wish to partake in! Whether it be relaxed shopping in the pedestrian zone or bowling, tobogganing, snow rafting and snow tubing, ice skating or romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides - your fantasies should know no boundaries!
