The well-known resort of Saalbach, in the middle of a breathtaking mountain setting, lies at 1,003 m. The Glemm Valley used to be a poor farmers' valley, but today it entices with lively villages and a winter sports paradise. The bypass tunnel means the centre is virtually traffic-free, so that it's possible to take an easy stroll through the pedestrian zone. The route to the lifts and pistes is short, and the sporting, apres ski and culture opportunities leave nothing to be desired. There is almost every activity here, that you may wish to partake in!
