Ski deals Interlaken - heart of the Jungfrau region!

The famous resort Interlaken is located idyllically between the Thurn and Brienz lakes and is known to be the "gateway to the virgin" (Jungfrau region). The holiday and congress resort has international importance and lies in midst of the Bernese Oberland. At an altitude of 567 m, Interlaken is surrounded by the world-famous backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the majestic 3,000 and 4,000 metre peaks. With a valid ski, hiking or tobogganing pass and a fully filled-out guest card the ski buses commuting between the valley station and ski areas can be used for free. Therefore Interlaken is the ideal starting point for the "Jungfrau Top Ski Region"! But also away from the pistes you are sure not to be bored: there are many bars, discos and restaurants in close proximity, as well as many sports and culture facilities. No matter if it is tobogganing on the longest run in Europe, sky diving in front of an impressive mountain massif or just relaxed lounging on the "Top of Europe", the highest located railway station in Europe.

The Jungfrau top ski region, with 214 kilometres of piste up to 2,971 m, is separated into three parts that are connected by lift, ski bus and train. Grindelwald's local mountain and a secret tip for all snowboarders is the First. Here you can use approx. 50 km of primarily easy to intermediate pistes, whereas the run from 2,500 m high Oberjoch is also a challenge for experts. The most difficult run is the 6 km long "First-Egg-Bort-Grindelwald", with an altitude difference of 1,118 m, the longest run in the area is the 12 km piste from Oberjoch to Grindelwald via Schreckfeld.

The main area, the connection from Grindelwald to Wengen with interesting deep snow territories, is quite impressive with over 100 km of piste for all skill levels. It also has the traditional world cup run "Lauberhorn". Snowboarders will have fun in the large fun park with half-pipe on the Lauberhorn, in the White Elemts Park at the First or in the beginner park at the Kleine Scheidegg. The region also offers great floodlit pistes and lovely free rider areas. Further 54 km of pistes are to be found in the Mürren-Schilthorn area, where the highest point of the area, the Restaurant Piz Gloria (2,971 m) can be conquered. For the fantastic view, it is definitely worth a visit!
