Even though the number of ski areas are not as plentiful as other countries, the two large ski centres of Grandvalira and Vallnord really make up the difference. Grandvalira is in every way worth a visit as it is the largest European ski area outside of the Alps. Just under 193 km of piste impress both beginners and pros on the search for adventure in the Pyrenees. Among its best-prepared, 91 km of piste, Vallnord Ordino-Arcalis and Pal-Arinsal come together to offer visitors some of the most modern runs in the world during their winter holiday.
