Oberdrauburg: Cross-country skiing

Oberdrauburg and its surroundings also welcome cross-country ski fans with cross-country skiing opportunities. Oberdrauburg is about 25 km away from the Lienz Dolomites. A cross-country skiing network with a total length of approx. 100 km extends here. Most of the trails are located in the valley basin and are easy to moderately difficult and therefore well-suited for beginners. The most famous trail is most likely the Dolomite Trail. The route is 35 km long and mainly flat with short ascents. The trail can be entered in Lienz. Cross-country skiers from more than 30 nations compete on this route every year at the famous "Dolomitenlauf".
